I am a mom, wife, and full-time content marketer with several years of experience in the mobile technology industry. I am passionate about branding, storytelling, event planning, and digital media. My career has taken me through almost all aspects of business: sales, customer service, project management, strategic planning, marketing, leadership, and more. I even spent years developing and launching iOS, Android, and web apps for cultural institutions.
In addition to my career in marketing, I am an entrepreneur who is always looking for ways to serve others and give back to my community. I offer freelance copywriting, blogging, and social media services. I empower folks from all walks of life to live well through decolonial wellness and yoga. I connect with my community through my blog, public and private classes, events, and social media. I am currently enrolled in a 200-hour hatha yoga teacher training (CYT 200) with expected completion in late 2020.
I have a BA in journalism from The College at Brockport, State University of New York. While in college, I gained valuable experience through my involvement with various clubs and activities. I was a resident assistant, campus tour guide, staff writer for The Stylus student newspaper, and a member of the Public Relations Club, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Inter-Greek Council. I also interned and volunteered for two local nonprofits, The National Kidney Foundation and The Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley, helping with public relations, events, and marketing. After college, I briefly wrote articles for Examiner.com.
Although my family might accuse me of being a workaholic, I savor my downtime by practicing yoga, hiking with my family, traveling, and blogging. I believe in the healing power of nature and survive on Green Goddess Cobb Salads, herbal tea, and essential oils.
